Busy, busy

My last post was so long ago.... and so many things have been happening lately. We have finally moved into our new house but there are still renovations going on. Each morning I wake up to someone working in the house. I will be glad when that is done. I would say we are 90% finished now, still waiting on some finishing touches which seem to take forever. Just when you think you did the last one, I find something else that needs to be done. Ah, the joys of home ownership.

This month I did a show at the Kalamazoo Art on the Walk which was a lot of fun. I was really lucky to be able to share a booth with a friend and she opened up her home for me to stay! Here is a link to  her blog: http://www.one-earedpig.blogspot.com/

I also volunteered to make beads for the Michigan Glass Project annual fundraiser for the Belle Isle Aquarium.

This year I will be attending the ISGB Gathering in Rochester NY. I am so excited to be able to see lots of my friends and other beady people. I will be sharing a hotel room with a friend from Arizona, Penny Dickinson and will be selling at the Bead Bazaar. 

The next few weeks I will be working nonstop at the torch to get my inventory up for the show.
