Bead Soup Reveal

Today is very exciting, it is the second Bead Soup Blog Party reveal.  If you are not familiar with the Bead Soup Blog Party here is a link: http://www.beadsoupblogparty.com/

In a nut shell, Lori Anderson partners up bloggers, artists and jewelry designers with each other and you each send a "soup" of beads including a focal bead and a clasp to your partner. Then we design something with those items and reveal it on one of 3 reveal dates. This is a really fun way to meet new people, see their work and their blogs.

I have been paired up with another blogger and jewelry designer Karen Vincent. Her designs can be found here at Swallowtail Jewellery  http://www.swallowtailjewellery.blogspot.com/
Please visit her blog to see what she created with the items that I sent her.

Please also hop around the other blogs listed below and see what everyone has created.

The bead soup that Karen sent me.

Here is the gorgeous copper focal. I added my lampwork beads, some paper beads and copper connectors that I made. I love the way the blue and copper work with each other.

The clasp that Karen sent me, I played a bit with alcohol inks to give it a little patina. I also used the coco beads she sent.

This is my second attempt to leave this comment and I had to move to another device because of the captcha being unreadable to me on my phone. Please remove it. I ask this with love and respect but it can make moving through the blog an unrealistic task. Thank you, Jean
